    Couldn't get it on straight and couldn't get the bubbles out! Threw it away. Wasted money!

    Call me crazy but I bought this twice since the cost was so low. The first one I bought was either too big for my Kindle DX or I put it on wrong somehow. I tried to trim the edge that extended over the case of the Kindle because it caused a large shadow like appearance on the screen where the sticky junk (yes, junk) could not adhere. Trimming was unsuccessful, messy and uneven.
    Sooo I bought another one. After reading the skimpy, incomplete directions and then actually thinking them over I applied the second one with somewhat better success but I still have about three inches to trim from one corner. Both attempts left bubbles on the screen which look like grease stains on a piece of paper. There is also glare at the top of the screen from my reading light.
    I don't think this should be advertised as reusable since to me that means you can remove and reapply it or put it on a different product with no loss of quality. This screen protector is much too cheaply made for that.

    IMO you should look for a different, better product. I am.

    The screen protector is a great idea for the new Kindle DX. The DX has a no glare sceen but the Screen Protectors have a glossy finish and creat glare on the screen. The screen protectors should be redesigned to eliminate glare on all models of the kindle's.

    This was a replacement for the first protector I had bought several months ago. Fortunately the price had dropped by more than half. I felt ripped off by the first one's price and lack of good instructions to install, and especially its claim to be reusable. It's not. The cover itself is fine. It is cut accurately to the Kindle's dimensions, and, if I had been able to apply it without problems, would have been totally invisible. The problem is making sure that there is not any speck of debris on the surface of the Kindle. I used the supplied cleaning cloth, but to little avail. The slightest dirt makes a bubble in protector. I had about 25 on the one I replaced. I have only 3 on this one. The bottom line is that the protector itself does an excellent job. Good luck applying it.

    « ITEM DIDN'T FIT AS DESCRIBED »
    I purchased this item for my Kindle DX and it did not fit. I contacted the retailer and they were willing to refund my money,but since I paid $.97 cents for it+ $2.97 for shipping, I couldn't justify shipping it back and spending more on shipping than its worth.
